100th post!!!!!

We had an on location commercial shoot. We had to use available light, and make it great! After $60, a leaking iron, fire ants, sunburn, high winds blowing over my set, a bbq stained table cloth, horrible tripod, no light meter, loading film on my bathroom floor huddled under a blanket, and a sudden down pour, I think I've got it! I was going for a country meets big city wedding table scape. I like it.

Is that an iPhone App?

ononesoftware.com has released the sweetest iPhone app I've ever seen!  With your Canon DSLR tethered to a laptop, your iPhone will network through WiFi.  Once networked,  You are able to control you camera through your iPhone with liveview an the ability to see your image after each shot!

For Photo Imaging, we have a "special project."  We need to create a tarot card, or a Movie Poster.  I chose to create  Movie Poster.  3 hours later... TAH DAH!  I shot my hand and some steak.  Yummy.  Everything on the poster is my own capture with an exception to the logo.  I can create it myself, but I don't see the point.  I found a .eps version of it.  Saved me about 20 minutes.  enjoy! MUAHAHAHAHA

I Found it!

I don't know when they posted it, but I finally found the profile TCSG did on the Georgia SkillsUSA Medalist. It's pretty cool. What's weird is that IDK where the photo of me came from! HAHA!

My nephew came running inside... "THERE'S A HORSE! THERE'S A HORSE!" I like... ok, riight. I carried him outside and to my surprise there was a real live horse running full speed through my front yard! WHHHAT!? Then, some guy came running from the trees with a lasso. It was hilarious! Of course I was able to grab my camera in time and snap a few. It's been an eventful weekend for sure!

Baby Shower

Sunday I shot my friend Ashlee's baby shower. It was fun. A little frustrating because I couldn't really get what I wanted. I was hard to bouce my flash where I needed it. All the rooms were polished wood panels on the walls, ceilings, and floors. I try to blame that, but I really just need to learn how to use my flash... :) I just got it so it's taking a min to get use to.

FIRE

I'm on fira!

I was driving to my brother's apt on Saturday. I got 1/2 a mile out of my subdivision and came across a house fire in the woods! The flames reached well over the top of the tall pine trees! It was an amazing sight. Well, I pulled my little butt over and went and shot it! I was able to sneak in the back, and get about 20 ft from it! It was hot. I think I got my first real taste of photo j and want more! What an adrenaline rush dude! I will have a couple photos up soon.
